Main Hoon Na (2004) is a critically acclaimed movie directed and written by Farah Khan. It is her debut directional movie. Main Hoon Na is an emotional drama movie originally written by Farah Khan. Upon its release, Main Hoon Na received widespread critical acclaim and emerged becoming the second highest grossing Indian movie of 2004.
Main Hoon Na won numerous awards and is highly regarded as one of the finest Indian movies ever.

Main Hoon Na 2
Director and writer of Main Hoon Na, Farah Khan has started writing the story for the second part. She has discussed the project with Shahrukh Khan.
Main Hoon Na 2 will feature Shahrukh Khan in the lead role. But except Shahrukh Khan, no other actor who featured in the first part will feature in the second part.
Farah Khan is writing and developing a new story and new characters. Shahrukh Khan has given his nod for Main Hoon Na 2. The movie will be jointly produced by Shahrukh Khan and Farah Khan. Screenwriters of Shahrukh Khan’s company ‘Red Chillies Entertainment’are presently writing the movie.
An official announcement is expected by Farah Khan soon. However, the filming will only begin in 2026 as Shahrukh Khan is busy with his other projects.
After Main Hoon Na, Farah Khan and Shahrukh Khan collaborated on movies such as Om Shanti Om (2008) and Happy New Year (2015). Both movies were huge successes whereas Om Shanti Om received widespread critical acclaim and is considered as a cult classic movie.
