Mercedes India has launched the new Mercedes Maybach GLS Night Series in the country. The new blacked-out variant sits at the top of the GLS Maybach line-up in India. The Maybach GLS Night Series is introduced at a price point of 3.71 crore, ex-showroom India. The Maybach GLS Night Series is 30 lakhs more costly than the regular Maybach GLS. Earlier, Mercedes Benz launched the Night Series edition of the Maybach EQS 680 SUV.
Mercedes Benz Maybach GLS Night Series Exterior
The newly launched Maybach GLS Night Series comes with a hallmark dual-tone paint scheme of Maybach cars. It sports a Mojave Silver finish on the upper portion of the car and Onyx Black on the lower portion of the car. The Maybach Night Series is primarily fitted with blacked-out elements and theme with the front grille panel and headlights featuring rose gold inserts. Additionally, the luxury SUV gets all-black Maybach spec 22-inch alloy wheels and it looks pleasant. The wheels are virtually identical to the ones inserted on the new Maybach EQS SUV Night Series.
Mercedes Benz Maybach GLS Night Series Interior
Inside, the new Maybach GLS Night Series gets a blacked-out exterior theme and tone. The seats come wrapped in bespoke Nappa leather with wood and aluminum accents. The all-digital instrument cluster also features a limited Night Series animation. It gets features like massage seats with memory functions, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, a 27-speaker sound system, 65-coulur ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, entertainment screens for second row passengers, an ADAS suit, and more.

Mercedes Benz Maybach GLS Night Series Powertrain
As mentioned before, the new Maybach GLS Night Series has no mechanical changes. It gets the same engine as the regular Maybach GLS. It comes equipped with the similar 550 horsepower, 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine. The petrol engine is assisted by a 48V mild-hybrid setup which produces a 250Nm and 770Nm of torque. The Maybach GLS Night Series can sprint from 0 to 100 kilometers in a claimed 4.9 seconds. The luxury SUV is mated with a 9-speed automatic transmission.
Mercedes Benz Maybach GLS Night Series Price
The new Mercedes Benz Maybach GLS Night Series is priced at 4.40 crore, on-road price in Mumbai.
The regular Mercedes Benz Maybach GLS 600 is priced at 4.00 crore, on-road price in Mumbai.
Mercedes has said that they might surge the prices of Maybach models in the coming months.
Mercedes Benz Maybach GLS Night Series Competitors
The Mercedes Benz Maybach GLS Night Series directly does not compete with any cars in India. But buyers can opt for Bentley cars at the same price point as the Mercedes Benz Maybach GLS Night Series.
