Mercedes Benz India: The G63 AMG is one of the most desirable cars in the world. The new G63 AMG is introduced in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 3.60 crore. The new G63 AMG looks the same as the previous generation model. But there are minor visible changes. Honestly, Mercedes Benz has done a fine job by not making many changes in the new G63 AMG. This is one of that car that looks the best in its original look.

New Facelifted Mercedes Benz G63 AMG Engine

The new Mercedes Benz G63 AMG offers a bi-turbo 4.0-litre V8 engine that is helped by a 48V mild, M117 3982cc hybrid system. The new G63 AMG makes 577 of horsepower and 850Nm of peak toque with its system. Mercedes has claimed that new G63 AMG can sprint from 0 to 100 in a claimed 4.3 seconds with a top speed of 240km.

However, Mercedes Benz has retained the 9-speed DCT automatic gearbox with paddle shifters.

New Facelifted Mercedes Benz G63 AMG Features

The new facelifted G63 AMG gets several features that were missing from the previous generation models.

It gets features such as USB Type-C charging ports, wirless Anroid Auto, wirless Apple CarPlay, ADAS suite, 360-degree camera, augment reality-based navigation system, Burmester sourced 18 speakers with 3D surround system and many more. Mercedes is also offering an optional AMG Active Ride Control option.

The new G63 AMG continues to offer a mixed sunroof, not a panoramic sunroof that is demanded by buyers. However, it now gets a keyless entry feature which is for the first time ever in the G63 AMG SUV.

Mercedes Benz is offering over 29 exterior paint picks with over 31 upholstery options on the new G63 AMG SUV. It also gets a massive 12.3-inch driver’s display, and an infotainment system that operates on the latest MBUX NTG7 software.

Mercedes Benz G63 AMG is one of the best-selling supercars in India. It is going to remain popular as it was a few years ago. The performance SUV is sold out for the rest of the year as the bookings have crossed the 200 mark. But it is fact that there are several more amazing cars in the same segment and price tag.

New Facelifted Mercedes Benz G63 AMG Price

The new facelifted Mercedes Benz G63 AMG is priced at Rs 4.30 crores, on-road. It is quite expensive as it is a performance SUV. But, the old generation Mercedes Benz G-Class AMG Line is priced at 3.07 crore, on-road price. G-Class AMG Line is the standard variant of the G63 AMG.

Mercedes Benz has also launched the electric G-Class which is quite cheaper than the G63 AMG. The electric G-Class is also enjoying healthy demand like the G63 AMG.
