BMW Group: The BMW M2 is one of the best two-seater sports cars that is sold in India. The BMW M2 was introduced in India in 2023. Now, in 2025, the updated and new BMW M2 has made its way to India. Visibly, the new BMW M2 looks similar to the outgoing model. But it gets a few upgrades and features.
New BMW M2
The new BMW M2 continues to get fully imported from outside. It is priced at 1.04 crore, ex-showroom and is estimated at Rs 1.23 crore, on-road price. The BMW M2 does not enjoy any competition in India until Audi launches the new A5 coupe.

New BMW M2 Exterior, Interior Design And Features
The new BMW M2 offers new seat covers with an option to upgrade to Alcantara leather finish. It also gets a new flat-bottomed steering wheel design.
The new M2 misses out on a sunroof feature. Although it now offers the latest generation iDrive system that comes with digital operating system. It gets features like front and rear parking sensors, wireless charging, BMW connected package, LED headlamps, new alloy wheels, and Harman Kardon sound system among others. The new M2 can be customized into M carbon bucket seats and M carbon fibre interior specs.
It gets new M frameless kidney grille with a three-section air intake.
New BMW M2 India Launch And Powertrain
The new M2 is ready to be booked online through BMW’s India website. Buyers can request a doorstep demo or test drive by a phone call. BMW has said that they are aiming to deliver over 100 models of the new M2 by April 2025.
The M2 continues to be powered by the new twin-turbo 3.0-litre, six-cylinder engine that makes 473 horsepower and 700Nm of toque. It gets two engine options, the 6-speed manual gearbox and an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
BMW India Future
Following the launch of the new BMW M2, BMW India has also launched the new X3 SUV. Last year, BMW had launched the flagship sedan BMW 5 series.
