Audi India: Audi has launched the new updated Q7 in the country. Remember that Audi will launch the facelifted Audi Q7 in a few years. The facelifted Audi Q7 will come with new exterior design, new styling, new shape and new interior. The facelifted Q7 will be completely different from current Audi Q7. But, before the facelifted Q7 is revealed globally, Audi has launched the new updated Q7 of the current generation model.

The new Audi Q7 is locally manufactured by the company at their plant in the Aurangabad city of Maharashtra state. The Audi Q7 was introduced in India in 2014 for the first time.

Audi India is offering a 2-year service warrant with the new Q7. The warrant also includes a 10-year complimentary roadside assistance package. The new Q7 gets 8-speed automatic gearbox. It can sprint from 0 to 100kmph in 5.6 seconds with a claimed top speed of 250kph. The new Q7 is powered by the similar 3-litre V6 petrol engine that produces 335bhp and 500Nm.

The new Audi Q7 is launched at an introductory price of Rs 88.66 lakh, ex-showroom.

The Q7 is a three row and seven-seater luxury SUV. It is priced below but directly competes with other three row and seven-seater luxury SUVs such as Mercedes Benz GLS, BMW X7 and Volvo XC 90.
New Updated Audi Q7 Exterior
Audi has just updated the new Q7 with minor but not majorly visible changes. Though it gets fresh new LED headlamps, a new grille design, chrome inserts in the front and a new single frame grille feature.

New Updated Audi Q7 Interior
The new updated Q7 gets the same features and interior styling as the previous model. It also gets new upholstery options such as Saiga Beige and Cedar Brown. Basic features such as 360-degree camera, heated and ventilated seats, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, ADAS Suite, and more are missing.
Verdict
Audi Q7 looks outdated. At a on-road price of 1.10 – 1.15 crore there are several cars that offers more feature than the Q7, looks more stylish and modern than the Q7 and offers better ride quality.
Though, Audi Q8 might be an excellent choice. The Q8 is priced at 1.30 crore, on-road. The Q8 is quite an excellent and stylish car. The updated Q8 was launched just a few months back. Audi is now launching the RS Q8, performance variant of the SUV.
